Donna is a coach, a consultant and a researcher. For the past six years, she has been Managing Director of Leadership Solutions Consulting, a consulting and coaching firm focused on Leadership Development. Donna has pioneered the firm's innovative methodology of "solutions-based coaching" which is designed to meet the needs of mid-level managers who want to gain skills and competencies quickly, efficiently and cost-effectively. Through highly focused, short-term coaching, leaders are able to gain the skills they want to learn. Leadership Solutions provides that support to individual leaders in major international firms, Governments and non-profit organizations.
Earlier in her career, Donna worked for nine years teaching in academia (Parkland College, Champaign, IL, The Wharton Business School, the University of Pennsylvania and Rider University. She also worked in organizations for twenty years as a Leadership and Organization Development professional with RCA, GE, The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Chubb Insurance, and C.R. Bard, Inc. Donna currently spends part of her time supporting the research projects of i4cp (The Institute for Corporate Productivity) and teaching. She teaches "Building Effective Professional Relationships: Connecting Strategic and Intimate Interactions" at the Gestalt International Study Center and a variety of leadership courses for the AMA.
Utilizing her experience in Leadership and Organizational Development, she has facilitated successful initiatives in multiple business disciplines, including sales and marketing, manufacturing, engineering, product development and management, and information systems. Some of her roles included:
- Facilitation of a strategy for merging not-for-profits
- Facilitation of a planning meeting for a not-for-profit with growth strategy
- Delivering Executive coaching program for high potential women
- Coaching leader of marketing in an international virtual team
- Executive coaching of senior leaders through 360 and development (over 250 leaders over the past five years)
- Design, development and delivery of various leadership development workshops and training.
Donna received her M.S. in Education from the University of Illinois and her Ph.D. in Human and Organization Development from The Fielding Graduate Institute. She has earned numerous certifications and completed advanced training in Coaching through the Gestalt Institute, Alliance for Strategic Leadership (Marshall Goldsmith) and Psychological and Leadership Assessment through the instruments such as: 16 Personality Factors, CDR 3-D Suite, Myers Briggs Type Indicator, Emotional Intelligence and Multi-factor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ).
